11 Tahun Dilema, Media Sesama Sepakbola Minim Kesadaran Akan Sepakbola Wanita

Jadi, gimana caranya biar lebih banyak orang yang aware soal sepakbola perempuan di tahun ke-11 nya Women's Footie ID ini ? Coba tabrak mbak Nin hehe.

"WOMEN'S FOOTIE ID GAK DAPAT SUPPORT DARI MEDIA, SESAMA AKUN BOLA, TV, PODCASTER. UDAH 11 TAHUN DAN MASIH GAGAL MASIH BISA STAY. HEBAT YA"

Udah tahun 2024, tapi masih sedikit akun bola yang konsisten ngomongin dan ngehype tentang sepakbola perempuan.

Cuma Women's Footie ID (ini akun) dan @ConcacafID yang konsisten ngomongin sepakbola perempuan di X (formerly Twitter). Kadang rasanya nyesek. Udah mau 11 tahun. Kadang ditengah jalan itu rasanya pengen nyerah karena kalo udah sepi ini akun pasti sepi banget macam kuburan. But, again amat bersyukur masih dikasih iman dan kekuatan buat ngurusin ini akun regardless of engagement number.

Sebelum Kumparan meluncurkan section Bolanita, dulu gak ada satupun media di Indonesia yang cover sepakbola perempuan. Senang rasanya ada media yang mulai aware sama cabor ini.

Mengingat kalo di Indonesia, federasi kita masih abai sama srikandi kita. Semoga bisa saling menjembatani antara kumparan dan Women's Footie ID. Kalo mau partnership sama Women's Footie ID , sabi kok.

Paham sih kenapa orang Indonesia masih belom terlalu aware sama women’s football.

1. Federasi amat abai dengan women’s sectionnya. Liga aja GAK ADA!

2. Gak aksesible. VPN hanya buat segelintir kadang tuh. Apalagi kalo udah International Break.

3. Gak ada provider streaming di Indo yang tertarik nyiarin pertandingan sepakbola perempuan.

4. Media juga agak gimana gitu selain Kumparan

Gatau kenapa, tiap mau memasuki bulan anniversarynya WFI rasanya ada aja refleksi dari mbakmin yang mostly enggak sesuai apa yang ingin dicapai.

To say women's football has a very small bubble fanbase, IT IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE DUDE. This words was bothered me. I never had this anger when some people saying about that. I hope the whole people in Indonesia won't think that women's football is a small bubble. I'm done.

Literally, my job is creating safe space for Indonesian fans to talk about women's game btw. I never wish to have many friends who cares about. It's so complicated to be a woman and following football in Indonesia. Especially women's football. Sometimes feels like in the jail.

Kadang-kadang, suka ngerasa kalo ini kayak project gagalku. Even udah lebih dari satu dekade. Rasanya masih belum sesuai apa yang dicita2kan sejak akun ini berdiri. Mungkin tetap harus nurunin ekspektasi aja yah guys.

Why sometimes I thought it was such a failed project? None of media, podcaster, TV or other aspect in this country looked at us when they want to try to hype up about women’s football for example to analyze about todays big match in women’s football. Its really sad.

Sebenarnya gue itu udah males banget curhat melulu. Nanti dikira gue enggak bersyukur. Tapi gue itu harus ngomong. Gue tahu nonton women's football adalah preferensi kalian masing-masing. Tapi honestly, masih banyak orang Indonesia yang susah tertarik buat nonton. Padahal setiap pekan tuh gue selalu ngasih info streaming di Twitter. Tapi kayaknya tetep susah sih.

Makanya, peran TV atau streaming provider di Indonesia itu penting banget buat naikin interest orang-orang kita buat menikmati pertandingan sepakbola perempuan itu sendiri. Kan seru kalo netijen Indo ngomongin jalannya sebuah pertandingan di women's game.

Gue percaya kok dengan "make it visible", akan banyak orang tertarik dengan women's football. Come on @vidio @MolaTVSport or any provider in Indonesia. You can do this dan orang bakalan lihat kok.

I know that a lot of Indonesians begins to talk about women's football. And many people are so grateful that WFI is here for them. I just want to say thank you so much for the support and creating safe space to talk about the game. We will continue to work hard to grow up the game and also keep this safe space that already created for you all.

I'm so happy, proud and grateful for your support for the last 11 years in the making. I just hope that more people begins to interested with women's football. Maybe someday we will see some famous people taking about the game? That's why WFI are here and stay for you. I really hope someday my work hard to get women's football exist in Indonesia pays off. I learn so many things for the last decade of my life.

Hopefully media, podcaster, akun bola, TV and any other aspect in football see this. Because we don’t have so much power to change by ourselves.

Anyway I hope this will be my last rant. Karena gue tau orang pasti akan persepsi yang macem-macem hehe.
